Oregon Falls

This is a falls that we were taken to by Judy White and Pam Sturgill on the way back from Crater Lake. It was a nice trip to Crater Lake and Pat had never been there before. It was in March and there was a lot of SNOW up there.

Getting ready to leave Chico

Well after living in Chico for about 21 years we are making preparation to leave. We are not certain of our final destination yet but think that it may be Tennessee. When we tell people that, their first question is usually why TN ? My answer is usually why not? Do you have family there, close friends etc etc they ask. My response is no, no, no and no. I just think that I want to live there so I am going to go there and find out. At our age if we wait very much longer it will be to late to find out. Older folks can have an adventure the same as younger ones. It is time for a change so we are off. We will have our Chico phone number on our cell phone so no matter where we are it will be a local call for our friends. We hope that you take advantage of it and give us a call from time to time. I am going to try to get Pat to keep the Blog updated with pictures and information as we travel. Keep in touch. we are keeping ALL of our friends and leaving our home. Jim

Lake is going,going,gone

Well we kept the water in the lake for over 2 weeks after the girls left. Now we are gaining a mud hole inch by inch. We have now been placed in Camp Hinckley to serve as camp hosts for the remaining time on our mission.

One of our lake missionaries to the rescue of 3 young women in an overturned canoe. This is a fairly regular occurance and we take turns manning the rescue raft. Just one of the many things that we do here.

Busy beavers.

Our lake "Busy little Beavers" were very busy indeed. They chopped down a couple hundred little trees in just a few days on the edge of our lake.
